THE BACKGROUND

Elsa Léger is a French singer-songwriter writing cinematic alternative rock — songs built like film.

Instinct collides with discipline in the world of Elsa. Her debut EP Die A Little (December 2025) is a fully British production: RAK Studios, London with Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, Nick Cave), and Vada Studios, UK with Matt Terry and George Perks.

ELSA came to songwriting by an uncommon route.

Léger came to songwriting by an uncommon route. Before this, she trained as a high-level figure skater, worked as a modern dance choreographer, and studied acting at Cours Florent (with additional certification as a personal protection agent along the way) — a sequence of disciplines that registers in the precision of her phrasing and the physicality of her delivery.

She writes and sings primarily in English.
